PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female/male type retainer with a tape which looks decent and beautiful in dressing by minimizing possible clearance between right and left tapes. SOLUTION: On side rims 4 as opposed to each other of a pair of tapes 3, female type retainers 1 made of a synthetic resin are mounted on one tape 3 at a fixed interval and male type retainers 2 are mounted on the other tape 3. The engagement for the combination between the female retainers 1 and the female retainers 2 is made so that engagement or disengagement therebetween can be occurs at a position inside the tape 3 from any one of the side rims 4 of the tapes 3 on which are mounted the female type retainers 1 or the female type retainers 2. The female type retainer 1 have upper and lower engaging pieces 15 protruding from each base part 8 wrapping one side rim 4 and the mole type retainer 2 has a cylindrical latch part 7 formed to wrap the other side rim 4 so that the engaging piece 15 can be engaged with the latch part 7. Thus, the engaged point is located inside the one tape 3 thereby reducing a clearance between the tapes as compared with the conventional type in which both the retainers are located outside the tape. |
