<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which an operation part usable as a color printer differs from an operation part usable as a monochrome printer. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system has the image forming apparatus that is connected to a computer with a display section so that they can perform two-way communication and can be used as a color image forming apparatus when a plurality of developer storage bodies are attached thereto and as a monochrome image forming apparatus when only a single developer storage body is attached. In the image forming system, the input operation part for inputting a command when the apparatus is used as the color image forming apparatus is not the same as the input operation part for inputting a command when the apparatus is used as the monochrome image forming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
