A first case (12) defines a surface along a flat plane orthogonally intersecting a reference line (41). A second case (13) is supported on the first case (12) to be freely rotated around an inclined axis (23) which intersects the reference line (41) at a prescribed inclination angle a. At the same time, the second case (13) is connected to the first case (12) to be freely opened and closed around an opening/closing axis (22) extending along a flat plane orthogonally intersecting the inclined axis (23). In such electronic device (11), since the inclined axis (23) intersects the reference line (41) at the prescribed angle a, while the second case (13) is rotating around the inclined axis (23), the lower end of the second case (13) moves away from the surface of the first case (12). Even when the second case (13) rocks around the inclined axis (23), the second case (13) is prevented from being brought into contact with the first case (12). Generation of scratches can be surely prevented.
