PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately read by preventing failure to read an RFID tag fixed to a commodity or erroneous reading of the tag in an inventory management robot performing inventory management by RFID. SOLUTION: In this inventory management robot, a moving control part 14 moves a moving mechanism part 50 by controlling a motor 51 for moving, and moves the inventory management robot 1 to a target movement position near an RFID reading position. A movable arm control part 12 moves an RFID reader 20 fitted to a movable arm 30 to the RFID reading position by controlling a movable arm motor 31. An RFID reading part 11 acquires the results of reading of the information in the RFID tag from the RFID reader 20. When the reading is unstable, the reading is performed several times at different positions, and the results are statistically treated.
