<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap capable of preventing ingress of hot water when an upper lid of the hinge cap is opened by an increase in pressure, or a person is taking a shower. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge cap is attached to a mouth part of a container, and consists of a cap body and the upper lid. The cap body is equipped with a bottom wall for opening a spout, a spouting cylinder, and an engaging cylindrical part to be attached to the mouth part of the container. An inclined wall part having an inclined surface which is inclined downward close to an outer edge of a top surface of the bottom wall is provided inward of a predetermined position of an inner periphery of the spouting cylinder. A lid engaging part to be engaged with the upper lid is provided on an upper portion of the engaging cylindrical part. The upper lid is equipped with a top wall and an outer cylindrical wall, and an inner cylindrical wall which is vertically provided on an undersurface of the top wall while a lower end outer periphery being engaged with the inner periphery of the spouting cylinder of the cap body, and abutted on the inclined surface of the cap body when the cap is plugged, and rises over to be deformed inwardly. An engaging part which is engaged with a lid engaging part of the cap body when the lid is closed, and slightly deformed with respect to the lid engaging part of the cap body to form a space is formed on a lower end inner periphery of the outer cylindrical wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
