<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity at a normal time and to perform efficient input/output operation at a special time when a predetermined condition in inputting/outputting fulfills a speed-degradation condition. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 includes: an image input/output processing unit 14 to which an input device and an output device are connected and which inputs/outputs image data to/from the devices; and an execution-condition determining unit 12 that switches processing modes in accordance with a condition when inputting/outputting image data, so that if the condition in inputting/outputting does not fulfill a speed-degradation condition, image data input/output processing due to the image input/output processing unit 14 is performed in a normal processing mode and if a condition in outputting fulfills the speed-degradation condition, image data input/output processing due to the image input/output processing unit 14 is performed in a low-speed processing mode during which a processing speed is lower than the normal processing mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
