The method involves putting into place on a keratinous material of electroactive polymer material actuator (700), and exciting the actuator, so as to induce deformation. The actuator is put into a place by using fastening on the keratinous material, and the excitation of the actuator is modified, so that the actuator induces a displacement of the keratinous material, where the actuator is elastically deformable, and induces displacement of the keratinous material on returning to initial configuration. The excitation is accompanied by disconnection of electrical conductors feeding the actuator.
