Method, with its device, for anchoring intra-cochlear electrodes through the cochlear wall. The electrodes are linked to two pieces of semi-elastic material, of a biocompatible nature. These pieces, in which the electrodes are included, are inserted into the orifices formed in the wall of the bone. The said pieces, due to their nature, configuration and/or means which they incorporate, automatically block the respective orifices of the cochlea, and, simultaneously by elastic deformation, hold the corresponding electrode securely. The process makes it possible to locate the electrodes in a stable way at the theoretical resonance-frequency points, with the aim of electrically stimulating the cochlea, producing sound sensations. <IMAGE>
