PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which gives a wearer soft touch at a part where components stretching in an oblique direction cross in the absorbent article which forms an embossment pattern that has components stretching in an oblique direction by compressing a surface sheet and an absorber together.SOLUTION: An absorbent article has a liquid permeable surface sheet 14, a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 11, and an absorber 13 arranged between the surface sheet and the rear surface sheet, and has a compression part formation area provided with a plurality of compression columns where a plurality of recesses 21 where the surface sheet and the absorber are compressed are arranged. The compression columns have: first compression columns 22a which pass a crotch from the abdominal side of a wearer when the absorbent article is worn and extends inclined to one side with respect to a virtual line leading up to the back side; and second compression columns 22b extending inclined to the other side. In the compression part formation area, the plurality of first compression columns and second compression columns are arranged in grid shapes, and there are no recesses at crossing parts 23 between the first compression columns and the second compression columns.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
