<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bioadhesive composition demonstrating prompt bioadhesion and sufficient coating strength by being photocured with irradiation of ultraviolet rays or visible light beams, and reducing damages on body tissue by suppressing heat generation that occurs in photopolymerization reaction as much as possible, and to provide an application method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The bioadhesive composition contains: a chitin-chitosan derivative including a 3-component unit indicated by formula (I) (In the formula, l, m and n are each independently denotes 0<l<1, 0<m<1 and 0<n<1 and l+m+n=1, Ac indicates an acetyl group, and R1 indicates a photopolymerizable functional group); a multifunctional photopolymerizable monomer containing two or three reactive double bonds, in which molecular mass per reactive double bond is 300 to 1,500; and a photopolymerization initiator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
