<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a surface lighting system obtaining uniform surface lighting light even if a semiconductor light emitting element is directly mounted to a side wall surface of a light guide plate as a light source. <P>SOLUTION: The light source 1 comprises spot-like light emitted from at least one semiconductor light emitting element, the light guide plate 2 comprises a transparent thin plate and enlarges like a pane light incoming from a light incident end surface 21 on which the light source 1 is installed and emits the enlarged light from a light outgoing surface 22, and lights adjacent lighting object articles, and the light guide plate 2 is constituted so that light reflecting slopes 3 are projected to the inside and scattered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
