<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize the effects of increase of orders caused by the efficiency of order reception at maximum by integrating order receiving processing and copying processing. <P>SOLUTION: In a order receiving and copying system for literature consisting of a server connected to a network and capable of receiving orders of copies of literatures from user terminals, and library terminals connected to the server so as to communicate data, the server includes an order receiving step, a received order contents storage step for storing the contents of an order received by the order receiving step, a library extraction step for extracting a library owning the ordered literature, a literature copying instruction information transmitting step for transmitting a literature copying instruction information to a library terminal arranged in the extracted library owning the literature, a copy output step for printing out copy data included in copy data information returned from the library terminal, and a sending address output step.
