PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld metal in which structure uniformization is improved by securing solid solution Ti in the weld metal, in the application of a gas shielded arc welding method using a solid wire. SOLUTION: This weld metal is formed by a gas shielded arc welding method using a solid wire. The weld metal is composed of≤0.020% (mass % and so on) C, 0.05-1.2% Si, 0.30-2.0% Mn, <0.005% (including 0%) Al, 0.01-0.10% Ti, 0.020-0.050% O, 0.01-0.05% solid solution Ti in the unaffected zone of the welding, and the balance iron and inevitable impurities.
