PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulverization apparatus capable of making use of a cavitation effect satisfactorily. SOLUTION: This pulverization apparatus is composed of an inflow port for an object to be treated that allows the object to be treated to flow in and a treatment chamber that has a gas inflow port attached to the front side of the top end of the inflow port for object to be treated and a treated material outflow port for flowing out the treated material. The object to be treated is allowed to flow into the treatment chamber together with a gas flow at a high speed from the inflow port for object to be treated. The object to be treated is pulverized in the treatment chamber according to the cavitation action and, thereafter, the pulverized material is allowed to flow out of the treated material outflow port.
