PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the back flow of molten metal when the flowing-passage is changed over, to efficiently perform the changeover of the flowing-passage, to prevent the closing of the molten metal outlet in a receiving part of the molten metal and to reduce the time of a maintenance at the change-over time. SOLUTION: This apparatus is the changeover apparatus 11 for flowing-passage of the molten metal, with which the molten metal discharged from a trough 10 on the upstream side is changeovered in order to changeover the flowing into branched troughs 12 on the downstream side, arranged by branching into at least two directions. Then, this apparatus is provided with; a molten metal receiving part 21 for holding the molten metal for a while by receiving the molten metal discharged from the above trough 10 into the inner part and providing the molten metal outlet 63 for discharging the molten metal into the above divided trough 12; a first driving device 13 for inclining the molten metal outlet 63 in the molten metal receiving part 21 to the vertical direction; and a second driving device 14 for moving the molten metal outlet 63 into the position of each divided trough 12.
