摘要 <p>A generation power determining section specifies efficiency characteristics based on the ID of each vehicle. Based on the efficiency characteristics, the generation power determining section determines power generation mechanisms to be operated such that fuel consumption by the entire power generation mechanisms is minimized. A power SPg<SUP>*</SUP> required for charging a power storage section in a low charged state is divided by the number of operating power generation mechanisms (e.g. two or three) to acquire a fuel consumption efficiency corresponding to a generation power to be covered by each power generation mechanism. Since ?(1/2)>?(1/3), it can be understood that two power generation mechanisms must be operated in order to minimize overall fuel consumption. The generation power determining section transmits a power generation command to vehicles corresponding to the two power generation mechanisms thus determined.</p>
