PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket issuing device for a serial ticket allowing reduction of the issuing time of the serial ticket, and that will not cause deterioration in the printing quality. SOLUTION: This ticket issuing device is provided with a printing part stepping motor 22 for driving a printing part feeding roller 21, and a cutter part stepping motor 24 for driving a cutter part feeding roller 23. They can be independently controlled. After feeding of roll paper 2 by the printing part feeding roller 21 is started, the slack A is formed between the printing part feeding roller 21 and the cutter part feeding roller 23. In a state where the slack A is formed, a printing part side continuously performs printing, and a cutter part side feeds and stops the roll paper a prescribed length (interval between perforations) by prescribed length.
