PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process of foaming a urethane foam that provides unique characteristics to meet the demands for low or zero ozone depletion potential, lower global warming potential and exhibit low toxicity.SOLUTION: A process of foaming a polyurethane foam comprises mixing polyurethane foam forming components with a foam blowing agent comprising 2,4,4,4-tetrafluorobutene-1. The polyurethane foam has a k-factor of 0.1347 to 0.1526 Btu.in./ft.h.°F when measured at 10°C (50°F) after aging for 0-120 days when tested according to ASTM C518.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
