PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resistance in hanging down a curing net by dispersing excessive force acting on a ratchet mechanism of a tensioner and a side plate on a side where the same is provided by a reinforcement plate. SOLUTION: A rope tensioner is comprised of a ratchet gear 12 rotatably supporting the ratchet mechanism 7 provided on an outside of one side plate 4 of a pair of the side plates 3, 4 on a support shaft 11 same as a winding up part 6, and a ratchet claw 17 rotatably supported by a spindle 16 provided on the side plate 4 with keeping predetermined interval with the support shaft 11, and the reinforcement plate 18 bridging the support shaft 11 and the spindle 16 is provided. Consequently, excessive force acting on the ratchet mechanism 7 and the side plate 4 is dispersed by the reinforcement plate 18 and resistance of the tensioner itself in hanging down a safety net can be improved.
