METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SEALING FITTING USED IN FLAMEPROOF ELECTRIC WIRE PIPING

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a sealing fitting for a flameproof wire pipe is provided to improve corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance by anodizing the surfaces of components of the sealing fitting. CONSTITUTION: Components(302,304) of a sealing fitting(300) are manufactured by cutting and casting a aluminum alloy material. A foreign material is removed from the surface of the component by the acid cleaning. The temperature of an electrolyte for the process surface is maintained between 4 and 5 degrees below zero. The electrolyte includes the water and the organic acid with a ratio of 6:4. The components are anodized in the electrolyte for sixty to eighty minutes under the voltage of 50 to 60 V and the current of 2000A. The components are washed, dried, and assembled.
