PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor having a sensor section that is extremely simple but highly durable and a circuit section that is simple, inexpensive, and low power-consuming, both of which being easily mass-producible.SOLUTION: A sensor section 102 comprises an inner electrode 203 sandwiched between rubber sheets, each having hemispherical protrusions 205 on one surface thereof, and an outer electrode 201 that covers outer surfaces of the rubber sheets, which together constitute a variable capacitor C506 whose capacitance increases when pressure is applied thereon. The hemispherical protrusions 205 realize high sensitivity when slight pressure is applied and high durability when large pressure is applied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
