PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of performing correction with high precision as far as possible, while enabling high speed processing by suppressing storage capacity of a correction value as far as possible.SOLUTION: A first storage section 6 stores a fraction part for geometrically correcting a position of each pixel of an image and a second storage section 7 stores an initial value of an integer part for correction for geometrically correcting a position of a prescribed pixel of the image. The processing unit 5 updates the integer part for correction corresponding to the pixel to be corrected on the basis of a comparison result by a comparison section among an integer part for correction of the prescribed pixel stored in the second storage part 7, a first fraction part of the first storage part 6 corresponding to the correction object pixel, and a second fraction part of the first storage part 6 corresponding to peripheral pixels of the correction object pixel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
