PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and lightweight high pressure steam sterilizer in which a sterilization chamber and a water storage tank are compactly arranged in a width direction and depth direction without changing a volume of the sterilization chamber.SOLUTION: A high pressure steam sterilizer A comprises: a sterilization chamber 1 for sterilizing a stored sterilization object with high pressure steam; a water storage tank 2 which communicates with the sterilization chamber 1 and supplies water; and a water discharge tank 3 for discharging residual water and high pressure steam left in the sterilization chamber 1. In the high pressure steam sterilizer A, the water storage tank 2 is arranged at a position upper than the sterilization chamber 1, and a first fitting recess part 2c of the water storage tank 2 faces a first upper face part 1d of the sterilization chamber 1, therefore the sterilization chamber 1 and the water storage tank 2 can be arranged in proximity to each other in a height direction, and water in the water storage tank 2 flows down smoothly into the sterilization chamber 1 by gravity. The water discharge tank 3 is arranged at a position upper than the sterilization chamber 1 and in parallel to the water storage tank 2, and has a second fitting recess part 3c facing a second upper face part 1f of the sterilization chamber 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
