The seal is located in gaps between vehicle body (10) and components, and consists of an elastic tubular part (14). The part is shaped like a hose and has an air chamber (18), which can be connected to an external pressure source. The hose has a slot-shaped ventilation opening. The elasticity of the part is varied by altering the pressure. The hose may be of sponge rubber, foam rubber, elastomer, thermoplastic material e.g. TP, TPE, TPV or a combination of these. |
