<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treater for a waste plastic, made proof against the stoppage of a pipe that connects a dechlorinating apparatus with a dechlorinated gas combustion furnace. SOLUTION: This treater 10 for a waste plastic is provided with an apparatus 11 for dechlorinating the waste plastic to generate a hydrogen-chloride-rich gas and a dechlorinated gas combustion furnace 12 that detoxifies the hydrogen- chloride-rich gas. The apparatus 11 and the furnace 12 are connected with each other through a pipe 20 for sending the hydrogen-chloride-rich gas from the apparatus 11 to the furnace 12. The conditions in the pipe 20 are controlled so that its inside temperature may fall within the range of 320-360 deg.C, and/or its internal pressure may fall within the range of -200 to 0 mmAq.</p> |
