摘要 PURPOSE: A method for chemically reinforcing a glass substrate for the cover of a solar power generation module is provided to maximize the efficiency of electricity generation with maintaining the thickness to be 1.5 - 3.2mm. CONSTITUTION: A method for chemically reinforcing a glass substrate for the cover of a solar power generation module comprises the steps of melting SiO2, B2O3, Al2O3, Li2O, Na2O, CaO, BaO and FeO to form the molten glass; passing the molten glass between the two patterned rollers so as to form a low-iron patterned glass substrate having a thickness of 1.5- 3.2mm; dipping the low-iron patterned glass substrate in KNO3 solution of 410 - 460°C for 3-5 hours, thereby substituting the sodium ion (Na+) of the surface of the low-iron patterned glass substrate and the potassium ion (K+) of the KNO3 solution; and annealing the patterned glass substrate, washing it with high pressure and drying it.
