An apparatus and a method for processing a guide groove of a guide rail are provided to increase processing speed and obtain accurate machining tolerance of the guide groove by installing a processing part which has a rotary processing part with a grinding tool to process guide grooves at two sides of the guide rail. An apparatus for processing a guide groove of a guide rail comprises a fixing and transfer part(110) and a processing part(120). The fixing and transfer part has a fixing and transfer stage(112) on which a guide rail(10) is fixed by a fixing element(113). The fixing and transfer stage is formed at one side of a transfer table(111). The processing part is formed with a grinding tool(123) at a rotary processing part(122) which is rotated to process guide grooves at two sides of the guide rail. The fixing and transfer part is formed with a grinding part(114), which is fixed at a processing device fixing part(115), at the other side of the transfer table. |
