<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounting system capable of appropriately assuring the safety of an operator in a check and a confirmation operation at the time of a machine trouble or the like, and to provide an electronic component mounting device used for the electronic component mounting system. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic component mounting system 1 stores facility arrangement information for indicating the arrangement of devices M1 to M7, individual device size information for indicating width dimensions B1, B2 of the devices, and information about a safety distance D regulated to prevent an unsafe state. When the unsafe state is detected in one of the devices, a specific device located in a dangerous range out of an upstream device and a downstream device beginning at the device M4 is automatically specified to stop operation on the basis of information about the facility arrangement information, individual device size information, and the safety distance D.
