PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire proof and heat insulation brick in which a conventional fire proof brick and a conventional heat insulation brick are made to the highest limit of porosity, thereby weight saving, high thermostability, and a high heat insulation property are realized at the same time even while being low cost; and a production method of the same.SOLUTION: A production method of a brick having high refractory and a high heat insulation property comprises that a slurry of a clay or a ceramic powder is added with a binder and a fibrous inorganic material of at least one selected from a glass fiber, a silica fiber, a mullite fiber, an alumina fiber or a zirconia fiber as a crack prevention material of a foamed body at sintering, the binder is made porous and foamed, and further the material made porous or foamed is sintered. |
