PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily printing an image in a correct portion of an envelope while shortening the printing time by conveying the envelope with long edge feed.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a printer and a control method of the same. The printer and the control method of the same input an image, convey an envelope so that the long side of the envelope is positioned in the tip in the conveyance direction, and perform control so as to print the image on the envelope by displacing the image by a set amount of offset used for printing an image on en envelope when conveying the envelope so that the long side of the envelope is positioned in the tip in the conveyance direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17 |
