A novel lamp fixture which employs semiconductor light sources and which i s designed to replace or otherwise substitute for a conventional sealed beam incandescent or gas discharge fixture. Preferably, the semiconductor light sources are arranged in a combination of sub-assemblies, each of which is constructe d to provide either spread light illumination or high intensity illumination for a desired illumination pattern. |
