An electrical connector, comprising an insulating base body (30), two terminal sets and a metal housing (60). The insulating base body is provided with a base (31) and an abutting portion (32). The abutting portion is connected to a front end of the base, and is provided with two upper and lower connecting plates (320) opposite to each other. An opposite surface of each of the two connecting plates is provided with a connecting surface (323). A connecting groove (325) is formed between the two connecting surfaces. The two terminal sets are provided at the insulating base body. Each terminal set is provided with at least one row of terminals (40), and is provided with a fixed portion (42) and an extending portion (43). The fixed portion is fixed to the base. The extending portion extends to one connecting plate, and is provided with a contact portion (44) protruding from the connecting surface. The contact portion can move elastically vertically. The contact portions of the terminals of the two terminal sets respectively protrude from the two connecting surfaces to the connecting groove. The metal housing covers the insulating base body. An inner metal shell (50) is provided between the metal housing and the abutting portion, and presses against the metal housing. A protruding elastic fastener (51) is integrally provided at left and right side plates of the inner metal shell, and protrudes toward the connecting groove. |
