PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic member that can achieve, at a high level, both improvement of a toner conveying force in high temperature and high humidity, and excellent provision of charge to a toner.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic member comprises a substrate, a conductive elastic layer on the substrate, and a plurality of insulating domains provided in a partial area on the conductive elastic layer. The conductive elastic layer has a Martens hardness of 0.10 N/mmor more and 3.00 N/mmor less. The surface of the electrophotographic member has an exposure ratio of the conductive elastic layer per area of a square with one side of 300 μm of 50% or more and 90% or less, and the average value of the areas of portions where the plurality of respective insulating domains are in contact with the conductive elastic layer is 300 μmor more and 10,000 μmor less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
