(a) moving a movable member (9) until it is in contact with a first zone (12a) of the lateral surface of the base (11), (b) moving the movable member (9) until it is in contact with a second zone (13b) of the lateral surface of the base (11), (c) moving the movable member (9) until it is in contact with the end face (16) of the stud (15), (d) moving the movable member (9) until it is in contact with the end face (14a) of the base (11), (e) deducing therefrom the coordinates (XO, YO, ZO) of at least one point (O) on the cartography token (10) with respect to the movable member (9).
