<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyol composition for rigid polyurethane foams, which uses a HFC compound, such as HFC-245fa and HFC-365mfc, and water as a foaming agent, prevents the friability and lateral extension of foams at low temperatures, and is excellent in adhesive to face materials, flame retardancy and workability (applicability), and to provide a method for producing the rigid polyurethane foam using the polyol composition. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the polyol composition for spray-foamed rigid polyurethane foams, which comprises a polyol compound, a foaming agent, a foam stabilizer and a catalyst, and is mixed and reacted with a polyisocyanate component to form the rigid polyurethane foam by a sprayer, characterized in that the polyol compound comprises an adipate polyol; the foaming agent comprises 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane (HFC-245fa), 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane (HFC-365mfc) and water; the catalyst comprises an amine catalyst and a quaternary ammonium salt catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
