PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate containing pigment such as carbon black having improved dispersibility.SOLUTION: A printing plate comprises (a) a substrate and (b) a radiation absorption layer. The radiation absorption layer contains at least one modified pigment product comprising pigment where at least one organic ionic group and at least one amphiphilic counter ion are bonded. In the printing plate, the amphiphilic counter ion contains charges opposite to charges of the organic ionic group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
