PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locus display device displaying a locus of a tool axis in a prescribed plane.SOLUTION: A locus display device 31 comprises: a position information acquiring unit 25 which acquires the position information of a drive shaft of a machine tool 1; a tool coordinate calculating unit 26 which calculates a coordinate value of a tool tip point 43 on the basis of the position information; and a tool vector calculating unit 27 which sets a tool vector 46 along a tool axis 45 using the tool tip point 43 as a starting point. The locus display device 31 further includes an intersection calculating unit 28 which calculates a coordinate value of an intersection between a tool vector 46 and a predetermined plane, and a display unit 22 which displays a locus of the tool axis in the plane in which the intersections are connected by a line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
