Measurement system for depth resolution determination in laser doppler perfusion imaging for fluid flowmeter

The system provides resolution of the spectrum of the light scattered back by a scattering fluid with electronic deep layer selection. The system uses a laser as a coherent measurement light source and also has an optical tomographic interferometry structure, a detector system and analysis electronics. A laser with a controllable multiple-line spectrum illuminates an interferometer which is connected to a mirror and to the object. The double shifted interference signal for each position of the spectrum is selectively analysed and visualised.
