PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method by which aluminophosphate particles suitable for use as a material for packing in a column or the like, a catalyst, a material for reinforcing plastic and rubber, etc., can be obtained with a high yield. SOLUTION: In the method for producing an aluminophosphate, a stock solution obtained by mixing (A) an aluminum phosphate compound and (B) an organic amine compound with (C) a solvent comprising water or at least one hydrophilic organic solvent is heated to >=50 deg.C.
