[PROBLEMS] To provide a ranking determining system in which the abilities of the entrants can be adequately evaluated in a competition of match-up type in which two entrants plays in each game. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In a ranking determining system, the following ranking determination is performed by a ranking determining program (123). From the data on the game results (the opponents of the entrants and the wins and losses), the total (SB value) of the winning points of all the opponents defeated in the games of each entrant and the total (Sorokov value) of the winning points of all the opponents are determined, and rankings of the entrants in order of quotient of division of the SB value by Sorokov value are determined. In such a way, ranking is determined in consideration of which opponents each entrant plays, and consequently, ranking determination more appropriately reflecting the true ability of each entrant can be made.
