PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleanser composition for washing machine drums, which can effectively peel and remove fungi, bacteria adhered to the back sides of the washing machine drums, filmy stains comprising detergents or the like, and other stains, has excellent storage stability, has low corrosiveness to various metals, when used as aqueous solutions, and does not produce irritative odors even in a high concentration aqueous solution. SOLUTION: This cleanser composition for the washing machine drums contains a dichloroisocyanurate and sodium metasilicate pentahydrate only whose particle surfaces are subjected to a low hydration treatment, as essential components.
