PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reasonably constitute a system for properly setting illumination in a studio to acquire a good image, with a simple operation. SOLUTION: A solid model A is arranged at the position of a subject. The solid model A is photographed with a digital camera 3 under the illumination from a luminaire 2. The image data thus taken is transferred to a computer 4, to acquire concentration data of a reference region formed on the outer surface of the solid model A. Based on the concentration data, the illumination is judged to be appropriate or inappropriate. if it is judged to be inappropriate, an inappropriate region and a massage for correcting it to be appropriate are displayed on a display 5.
