PURPOSE:To provide a delay switch which can control an illumination load so that a user does not feel dazzled when using a toilet during the night. CONSTITUTION:When an input port IN1 falls to 'L' at the press of a push-- button switch portion 5, a control circuit 3 controls a TRIAC Q1 in accordance with zero-cross detection so that the TRIAC Q1 totally conducts, and the control circuit 3 also controls the conduction angle of a TRIAC Q2 so that the conduction angle increases in steps over a predetermined time from its off state until total conduction is achieved. Hence, the brightness of an illumination load 4 increases gradually after the operation of the push-button switch portion 5. Therefore, a user does not feel dazzled when using, a toilet during the night. |
