PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a noise component to allow highly precise detection, when a temperature and a concentration of combustion gas or the like are measured by a laser absoption method. SOLUTION: In detection of the concentration or the like of gas using a fact that a laser beam for measurement is absorbed by the gas on an optical path or the like, and that an absorbance therein relates to the concentration of the gas or the like, a signal component A of a data in a prescribed frequency band characteristic to the detected gas or the like is deleted from a data expressing intensity as to the wavelength of the laser beam when the laser beam transmitted through the gas or the like is processed, the deleted data is supplemented by a polynominal data to be continued to a data of the other residual portions so as to generate a noise component C, the noise component C is subtracted from the data of the laser beam to remove the noise component C, and only the data of the signal component A corresponding to a detected molecule or atom is thereby extracted to enhance the S/N ratio.
