<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a power company to dispatch staff, only in case of failure caused by a facility of the power company, to examine the cause of the failure or cope with the failure. <P>SOLUTION: The electric rate discount system comprises a call center including a customer connection means receiving communication from a customer terminal by an automatic response means and a database of the power company. The customer connection means includes a customer specification means specifying the customer of the customer terminal based on data stored in the database of the power company; a question and answer means asking questions by the automatic response means to the customer to specify a failure position, a failure cause, and a countermeasure to failure; an input means for the customer to input answers to the questions from the automatic response means; and a discount amount calculation means calculating a discount amount of electric rate of the customer in reference to input data from the input means and predetermined data stored in the database of the power company. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
