<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a LED module that can be efficiently manufactured at low cost without requiring a printed circuit board and soldering. <P>SOLUTION: In the LED module consisting of multiple LEDs 10, the multiple LEDs 10 are connected by directly welding each adjacent pair of leads 11 of the LEDs 10 by means of micro spot welding or micro laser welding. Alternatively, in a LED module comprising at least one LED, other circuit components, and/or lead wires, each adjacent pair of the LED leads, the circuit component leads, and/or the lead wires is directly connected by means of micro spot welding or micro laser welding in order to connect the at least one LED, the other circuit components, and/or the lead wires. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
