PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording/reproducing device which can quickly adjust servo parameters over all the areas of the optical disk by dividing the optical disk having a plurality of recording surfaces into a plurality of concentric areas in a radial direction and adjusting the servo parameters sequentially over each divided area. SOLUTION: The optical disk recording/reproducing device executes the following steps: a step for sequentially adjusting the servo parameters for all the recording surfaces of the same area from the recording surface of a front face or a rear face of the inner peripheries or outer peripheries of the divided areas; and a step for sequentially adjusting the servo parameters for all the recording surfaces of the same area after moving to the same recording surfaces as the recording surface finally adjusted when moving to the neighboring area; thereby the time required for adjusting the servo parameters can be shortened and the servo parameters can be adjusted over all the areas of the optical disk.
