An enteral feeding adapter comprising a male fitting configured to engage a female fitting for connecting the adapter to an enteral feeding element. The male fitting includes an annular portion having a threaded inner surface and a tubular portion disposed at least partially within the annular portion. The tubular portion includes a side wall, an outer diameter, and a central passage extending through the tubular portion. The side wall of the tubular portion extending past an open end of the annular portion for use in filling an interior space of a female fitting when received in the female fitting. |
