PURPOSE: To obtain a block material which has a low thermal expansion coefficient and can be processed by using a wood processing tool by a method wherein after a solid reactive resin compd. with high filler content is heated in a specified temp. range, a compression molding compd. is compressed. CONSTITUTION: A curable reactive resin compd. which is under one component system contg. more than 30 wt.% filler to a reactive resin compd. and is dry or a little wet and can be cast is heated at a temp. within 70-150 deg.C in a microwave, induction or high frequency oven directly or under an embodiment precompressed into a so-called raw compressed powder and then, this heated reactive resin compd. or the raw compressed powder is placed in a preheated mold at a temp. within 70-150 deg.C and is compressed and then, cured. The block material obtd. is characterised by a especially low thermal expansion coefficient and a member prepd. of the block material has an appropriate dimensional stability over a wide temp. range and the block material has good processability and can be processed by means of a machine or by hand and when it is processed by using ordinary processing tools, dust are not generated at all. |
