摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality organic electroluminescence device which includes: a fine electron implantation property for a polymer luminous layer; and a negative electrode structure that achieves a continuously driving stability. <P>SOLUTION: In the organic electroluminescence device 1 which includes a light-emitting device in which an organic luminous layer 46 is sandwiched between a pixel electrode 30 and a negative electrode 60, this device 1 has: a metal containing layer 52 which includes a luminous high-molecular compound of a polymer in a formation material of the organic luminous layer 46, is formed coming into contact with the organic luminous layer 46 between the organic luminous layer 46 and the negative electrode 60, and includes alkali metals or an alkaline-earth metal having a work function of 2.9 eV or smaller; and an electron transport layer 54 which is formed coming into contact with the metal containing layer 52 between the metal containing layer 52 and the negative electrode 60, and uses a low-molecular compound of an electron transport property which does not include a repetitive structure by polymerization as the formation material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
